Read to Succeed

United Way of Story County supports the Food Bank of Iowa Backpack Program that provides backpacks of food to feed disadvantaged elementary-age children over the weekend and during school breaks. RRSC contributes to this program by giving personally selected gift books to tuck in backpacks three times a year, typically before holidays and spring and summer breaks. In the 2019-20 school year, 270 elementary school students were served.
